TERMS & CONDITIONS
All participants/volunteers who partake in any ARC Challenges do so at their own risk and are responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and permission (if applicable) for collection in public places.
If you have a medical condition and/or are over 60, you must get written permission from your doctor to take part in the Challenge. When you sign the Registration Form you confirm that your general state of health and fitness is good and that you take full responsibility for yourself in this regard and do so at your own risk.
Monies:
- Cheques should be made payable to ARC Trust. You can also pay online at www.arccancersupport.ie or by Laser, Visa, MasterCard or Maestro.
Overseas Challenges:
- Once you register for an ARC Challenge you must pay a non-refundable deposit. You must also raise a further minimum amount.
- All monies must be paid 8 weeks prior to the departure date.
- While sealed buckets are available from ARC House for collecting, all buckets must be returned intact for counting to ARC House.
- No mobile phone usage is allowed while cycling and helmets must always be worn.
- You must have a valid passport with the expiry date at least 6 months after date of return.
- You can only take part in an overseas ARC Challenge if you have appropriate Travel Insurance. It must cover health, accident, disease and injury or death while abroad on a specific challenge. Your insurance cover should have an emergency contact phone number and you must supply proof/copy of this insurance to ARC House 4 weeks prior to travelling.
Please Note:
- Should you be unable to complete our sponsorship requirements, all monies raised in the name of ARC must be sent into ARC House, 65 Eccles St., Dublin 7. Tel. (01) 8307 333
- All instructions relevant to the Challenges must be observed as they are there for your own safety.
- ARC Trust will accept NO liability for any injury resulting from any Challenge.
- ARC Trust will accept NO liability in the event of insolvency of any of our suppliers.
- ARC Trust reserves the right to decline any Registration Form without giving reason.
- ARC Trust may also, at its sole discretion and without giving reason, suspend any participant from any challenge and take any action necessary to enforce this suspension.
ARC Trust also reserves the right to make changes to any of the Challenges in the interest of the success of the Challenge without notice.
